Job Description

Ready to shape the future of enterprise service management across one of the UK's leading energy companies? Do you enjoy defining platform strategy, influencing technology decisions, and delivering solutions that create lasting business value? At EDF, "Success is Personal", and this is your opportunity to build a career that's as ambitious as the platforms you'll help transform.

The Opportunity

As our ServiceNow Platform and Solution Architect, you'll provide architectural leadership across a critical enterprise platform, helping teams deliver secure, scalable and innovative digital services. We're recruiting for three ServiceNow Platform and Solution Architects, giving you the opportunity to join a growing team that's shaping the future of digital service delivery across EDF. Working across multiple ServiceNow products, you'll define the platform's future direction while supporting key business outcomes and technology transformation initiatives.

You'll join us on a salary starting of £70,000 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a hybrid role with complete flexibility on location. You'll have the freedom to work in a way that suits you while collaborating with colleagues across the business when needed.

You'll play a key role in supporting EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain by enabling technology that improves efficiency, governance, automation and service delivery. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, product teams and architects, with opportunities to influence strategy, drive innovation and shape one of EDF's most important digital platforms.

Who You Are

We're looking for a ServiceNow Platform and Solution Architect who combines strategic thinking with deep technical expertise. You'll be comfortable influencing stakeholders, shaping architectural direction and delivering solutions within complex enterprise environments. Are you experienced in...?

  • Architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions within large, complex enterprise environments
  • Working across ServiceNow products including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, SAM, SecOps and IRM
  • ServiceNow platform architecture, security, governance and development best practices
  • Developing platform roadmaps, architecture strategies and governance frameworks
  • CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and service data management
  • Designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, Integration Hub, MID Servers and integration platforms
  • Platform security, compliance, risk management and architectural governance
  • Operating within Agile, product-centric and DevOps delivery models
  • Managing and influencing stakeholders across business and technical functions
  • Communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Defining and evolving the architectural vision, strategy and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform
  • Leading solution design activities and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Governing platform architecture, standards, security controls and design best practices
  • Designing and overseeing integrations, data architecture, CMDB strategy and service data management
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring colleagues and influencing key technology decisions

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a starting salary of £70,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That's why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that's unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it's your journey, powered by us.
