What’s the role?
The Technical Product Owner owns the direction, standards and day-to-day evolution of key Developer Enablement platforms. You will provide hands-on technical product ownership across GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, Harness and related SDLC capabilities, treating them as strategic enterprise products rather than isolated tools. You will work closely with engineers, architects, security teams and delivery teams to define practical roadmaps, prioritise outcomes, shape secure-by-default patterns and ensure the platforms continue to meet the needs of teams building, testing, packaging, releasing and operating software.

What do I need?
  • 15+ years experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or architecture leadership, with broad expertise across SDLC tooling, cloud-native platforms and enterprise developer experience.
  • Deep understanding of GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Harness and related build, release, artifact and platform automation capabilities.
  • Strong technical product ownership capability, with the ability to influence executives, architecture forums, product leaders and engineering teams through clear roadmaps, practical guidance and credible hands-on technical depth.
  • Strong experience defining reference architectures, paved-road patterns, platform guardrails and automated controls in regulated or risk-sensitive environments.
  • Proven ability to mentor senior engineers, lead technical communities and improve engineering practices across multiple teams or domains.
  • Comfortable operating across strategy, product ownership and hands-on delivery, with the judgement to simplify complex technical problems and translate them into clear enterprise direction.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI and agentic integration into engineering workflows is desirable, particularly where it improves developer productivity, quality and control automation.
  • Ideally, you will be active in the wider technical community through mentoring, technical writing, speaking, standards development or contribution to enterprise engineering practices.
