What’s the role?
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer within the Secure Network Services (SNS) team within the Technology division. This position will work closely with the project engagement team, network architecture team, engineering, build and operation teams. This position plays an important technical support for the network infrastructure for critical services, participation in direct interactions with stakeholders to confirm and recommend networking solutions to ensure user requirements are understood and appropriately translated into infrastructure requirements.
What do I need?
Essential:
- Over 5 years of in-depth technical network/security networking experience.
- Prior work experience in large organizations supporting complex networks.
- Vendor certification: Cisco CCIE/CCNP, F5 Big-IP, Fortinet NSE-4/NSE-5.
- Strong technical knowledge of network technologies and troubleshooting skills.
- Good technical knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, Switching and Routing (BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, VTP, etc), Firewalls (Juniper SRX, FortiGate), Load Balancing, PKI, IPSec VPN.
- Proven experience of working in a project and operational role, incorporating planning, implementation, operational management and build and configuration.
- Advanced analysis, and hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting experience of network issues.
Desirable:
- Good understanding of Automation platforms and Orchestration Tools.
- DevNet hands-on experience with Python.
- Good understanding of Cloud networking Azure/AWS.
- A general understanding of ITIL processes (particularly change management) and ServiceNow.
