Product Manager, Supply Chain

About the Role

This is a high-ownership product role at a manufacturing SaaS company, focused entirely on the supply chain vertical. You will define and drive the roadmap for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities within a factory operating system used by complex hardware manufacturers. The work directly shapes how production teams manage their most critical operational workflows.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end supply chain product roadmap, from strategy through execution and launch.

• Visit factory floors and work directly with supply chain directors and procurement leads to surface real operational pain points.

• Translate complex hardware supply chain logic into clear specs, wireframes, and functional prototypes.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to ship features that deliver measurable ROI.

• Use AI-assisted tools to rapidly prototype solutions, run data queries, and navigate APIs alongside the engineering team.

• Analyze inventory flow metrics, user behavior, and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and continuously improve outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in product management shipping features end-to-end (research through launch).

• A prior software engineering or hands-on coding background, before or alongside PM work.

• 2 or more years working in manufacturing or supply chain operations, such as factory floor, procurement, inventory, or logistics.

• Deep knowledge of procurement workflows, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability.

• Ability to build functional prototypes and write technical specifications from complex domain logic.

• Proficiency with tools and stacks including Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, ERP systems (such as NetSuite or SAP), MES, and PLM platforms.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.

• Experience in advanced hardware sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive is a strong plus.

• Proven ability to align and influence across engineering, design, sales, and customer stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $175,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California, with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
