You as a Product Owner will:

  • Own and manage product backlogs, priorities, and delivery coordination across agile teams.

  • Translate business problems, operational workflows, and user feedback into clear product requirements and user stories.

  • Partner with UX, engineering, and data teams to prototype, test, and iterate on new features and workflows.

  • Support discovery activities including workshops, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and validation of user needs.

  • Work closely with technical teams to understand system capabilities, integrations, APIs, and implementation trade-offs.

  • Identify where AI, automation, and data-driven insights can strengthen financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting workflows without adding risk or complexity.

  • Define and track success metrics including adoption, efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction.

  • Align stakeholders across operations, technology, and leadership teams to support product direction and rollout readiness.

  • Support product launches, training, adoption, and change management activities.

  • Contribute to roadmap planning by identifying opportunities for process improvement, workflow standardization, and future product enhancements.

  • Stay current on product delivery practices, digital trends, and evolving AI and agentic AI techniques and solutions relevant to financial systems and the construction industry.

  • Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and user-centered thinking across teams.

  • Support EllisDon’s broader digital transformation initiatives through practical, scalable product delivery.

This is the right role for you if:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business systems analysis, or digital solution delivery.

  • Experience working in agile software delivery environments with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong ability to balance user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

  • Comfortable working in complex operational environments with evolving requirements and ambiguity.

  • Experience with financial systems, budgeting and forecasting tools, cost management platforms, or ERP systems (e.g. D365, IBMi, Workday) is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with, or strong working comfort in, AI-enabled and agentic workflows (e.g. low-code/no-code agent-building tools, AI-assisted analysis), and the ability to identify where automation can strengthen financial decision-making while applying sound AI governance judgment, is expected.

  • The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000.
