- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand software requirements, design specifications, and user stories.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks and test tools using python or similar.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and assist with maintaining test execution within build and release processes.
- Develop, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on product requirements and specifications.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyse results, and help investigate, reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
- Document test results, defects, test coverage, and other quality metrics.
- Learn and apply software testing and automation best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the team's processes and tools.
- 2+ year(s) of experience in testing, development, or test automation, including relevant internship or graduate experience.
- Basic programming experience in Python.
- Experience creating and executing manual or automated test cases.
- Understanding of testing principles
- Exposure to Raspberry Pi, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration testing.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Experience writing automated tests or working with an existing automation framework.
- Exposure to API testing and tools
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git or other source-control systems.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and take on increasing responsibility.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
