JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of Provider-facing projects, data exchanges, and reporting initiatives. The Manager oversees 2 to 3 Agile Scrum teams comprising 12–18 total data professionals—including business analysts, data engineers, quality/testing engineers, and data analysts—across a hybrid model of onshore and off-shore resources. This role requires deep expertise in data integration, reporting, provider networks, and modern cloud data architectures. The Manager collaborates extensively with senior stakeholders for requirements gathering, prioritization, executive communication, and strategic alignment, while ensuring high-quality, scalable delivery using modern DevOps and cloud practices.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership & Delivery Management: Manage 2-3 Agile Scrum teams (12-18 total onshore and offshore data professionals), fostering a high-performing culture, providing mentorship, and ensuring successful delivery of provider-facing projects, data exchanges, and reporting.
- Technical & Architectural Oversight: Oversee the technical execution of data pipelines and architectures using GCP, Cloud-based PySpark, Data Lakehouse architecture concepts, Informatica, and SAS. Champion development best practices including GitHub/DevOps CI/CD, YAML, and Cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Domain Expertise Integration: Guide teams through complex healthcare-specific data challenges, including Provider directories, provider networks and benefit tiers, Value-based reimbursement (VBR) programs, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system data exchanges for payer/provider mutual benefit.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Executive Presence: Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to align on requirements, feature prioritization, resource management, and conflict resolution. Act as a primary communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Agile Governance & Process Improvement: Drive Agile Scrum methodologies across the teams, continuously refining delivery processes, risk management, defect reduction, and operational efficiencies.

Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or closely related discipline

EXPERIENCE
Required
- 5 years in a leadership / mentoring role
- 5 years of planning, implementing, maintaining and growing capabilities within relevant discipline
- 3 years of developing, communicating and presenting concepts to varying audience
Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, and reporting project management or delivery management.
- 3+ years of experience managing technical teams and resources (including offshore/onshore mixes) in an Agile Scrum environment.
- 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance industry, specifically with deep knowledge of provider networks, directories, and value-based reimbursement programs.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), Data Lakehouse architectures, and modern CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
