Infant-Toddler Classroom Aide

Working with young children is never boring and neither is this role! Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is looking for two energetic, caring, and flexible aides to support our Toddler classrooms.
As a vital team member, you'll provide support for the Lead and Assistant Infant and Toddler teachers, building meaningful connections with the children and their families, ensuring seamless coverage during breaks and maintaining ratios. You will also serve as an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children.

Position Detail:
- Status: Regular, full-time (benefit eligible)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
- Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
- Pay range: $14.50-$17/hour (based on certification/education and prior experience)
- Number needed: 2

Requirements
· You must be at least 18 years of age (required)
· Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire)
· Previous experience in a childcare setting or as a private nanny (preferred)
· Reliable transportation
Essential functions:
· Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
· Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
· Support lead and assistant teacher
· Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
· Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
· Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
· Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.

The story of Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center began long before the first center’s opening in August 2011. Owners Rhonda Meyers and Amy Maxwell have been in the field of Early Childhood a combined 40 years! Both have Masters Degrees in Education and have been working as a team for more than 17 years. As their own families grew, so did their school family and now all are under one warm roof at Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center. With a commitment to providing high quality early education, Amy and Rhonda have raised their own children right along with the families they serve. As one pleased parent remarked, “When you’re at Heartfelt, you’re at home.” We have three locations to serve families: 2810 S. Lapeer Road Lake Orion, Mi 48360 4461 Collins Road Rochester, Mi 48306 5520 Clarkston Road Clarkston, Mi 48348 We have programs for children 6 weeks through 12 years. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6am - 6:30pm
