About the Role
Join a small engineering team building software for remote air traffic control systems. You will help develop real-time, safety-critical technology that supports airport traffic management and modernizes air traffic control.
What You'll Do
Build perception, state estimation, and automation software that processes video, audio, and radar data in real time.
Develop streaming data pipelines for ADS-B, voice, and video, balancing latency, reliability, and safety.
Create controller-facing interfaces for remotely monitoring and managing airport traffic.
Build pilot companion apps and tower-side software using low-latency speech recognition and computer vision.
Collaborate across software, hardware, RF, and mechanical engineering as the system develops.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of software engineering experience, with experience shipping core product or systems work.
Production proficiency in C++, Python, or similar systems-level languages.
Experience with low-level or real-time systems, such as networking, embedded software, systems programming, or streaming data pipelines.
Experience at a startup or on a high-velocity engineering team, and initiative demonstrated through side projects, open source, company-building, or hardware projects.
A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline other than financial, industrial, or civil engineering.
Experience with safety-critical systems in aviation, automotive, or medical technology is valuable. Familiarity with React, Next.js, Elixir, ADS-B, computer vision, or speech recognition is also relevant.
