Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role

This hands-on role works closely with the founding team to shape company strategy and help scale an early-stage AI-powered govtech business. You will take on a broad mix of product, operational, and strategic work to help public agencies operate more effectively.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the founder on company priorities, including strategy, fundraising support, and operational needs.

• Take ownership of cross-functional initiatives that help the business run efficiently and scale.

• Work closely with the founding team to support company growth and turn priorities into action.

• Introduce and use AI tools across business workflows to help the team work more effectively.

• Contribute to technology solutions that improve how government agencies work.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 4-10+ years of relevant experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or another business-generalist role.

• Experience in an early-stage, venture-backed technology company, ideally from Seed through Series B, and familiarity with larger technology organizations.

• Previous Chief of Staff experience is relevant to this broad, founder-facing role.

• Familiarity with AI tools, including tools for building or automating workflows, such as Claude Code.

• An undergraduate degree from a highly selective US university, or relevant experience at a major technology company or early-stage venture-backed startup.

• Interest in govtech and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $130,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, five days per week.
