Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join an engineering team building AI-enabled software for mortgage servicing. You will help develop reliable backend systems and product features that support complex financial workflows and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Own product features from design through implementation and launch in a high-autonomy environment.

• Build and scale backend systems that support large-volume mortgage transactions.

• Use AI coding tools to assist with production development, with human review of shipped code.

• Design robust infrastructure for complex federal, state, and agency regulations.

• Collaborate with product and platform or infrastructure teams, depending on team placement.

What We're Looking For

• Three to ten or more years of software engineering experience, with a track record appropriate to a senior individual contributor role.

• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems, ideally at a high-growth, product-focused software company.

• Proficiency with Python and experience with React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor in software development.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and the ability to build dependable software for complex domains; mortgage or financial technology experience is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $210,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
