Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.
Location:
Due to the majority of the workload for this position needing to be conducted in a secure facility, candidates will be required to work onsite. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
- US citizenship required
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience supporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).
- Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
- Exposure to security scanning, compliance frameworks, or DevSecOps automation.
- Example certifications include: Industry Professional certification Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303 and AZ-304), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
