Founding Software Engineer

About the Role

This is a founding engineering role at an early-stage AI/ML startup building enterprise-grade systems that enforce supplier contract terms and recover margin on spend at scale. You will join a small founding team, working directly on hard data problems, complex AI systems, and real-world impact for some of the world's largest organizations across CPG, retail, and healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship full-stack product features end-to-end as a core member of the founding engineering team.

• Solve hard data problems at scale: continuously verifying what enterprises have negotiated versus what they have paid across massive volumes of messy, fragmented data.

• Make strategic product and technical decisions that shape the company's direction from day one.

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their problems and deliver solutions.

• Contribute to AI and LLM systems that drive measurable savings for large organizations.

What We're Looking For

• 0 to 8 years of software engineering experience.

• Strong full-stack development skills, with experience in Python, TypeScript, and React.

• Comfort working with AI and LLM systems and an interest in applying them to real enterprise problems.

• Experience or genuine interest in data-heavy, high-volume problem domains (e.g. finance, supply chain, procurement, or similar).

• A builder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, eager to own problems end-to-end, and motivated by working in a founding-team environment.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical enterprise stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $200,000 to $225,000 USD annually.

• Founding-team equity.

• Visa sponsorship is available.
