Business Data Analyst IV

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid
Contract: 10 months contract to begin
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $100.92/hour

About the Opportunity

A leading financial technology and consumer data company is seeking a Business Data Analyst IV to join its Front Door and AI Data Science team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics, artificial intelligence, experimentation, and business strategy.

The successful candidate will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to define key metrics, develop and maintain dashboards, conduct deep-dive analyses, and design experiments that help inform product and business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to define, refine, and document key metrics and reporting logic supporting Front Door and AI initiatives.
• Design and analyze experiments end-to-end, including hypothesis development, success-metric definition, test structure, results analysis, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting using business intelligence tools.
• Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies identified by stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to answer complex business questions and identify opportunities.
• Gather business requirements and help prioritize and scope new reporting and analytical needs.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Document metric definitions, reporting logic, and experimentation methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability.

What We're Looking For

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and analyzing data.
• Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards and reporting.
• Practical experience with experimentation/A-B testing, including hypothesis development, test design, success metrics, and results analysis.
• Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent analytical storytelling and presentation abilities.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
