About the company
Our client is a defense and aerospace manufacturing company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the electronic design of flight-critical boards from first requirements through vehicle integration and production support. The work spans architecture, bring-up, debugging and verification, in close partnership with supply chain and systems colleagues.
What you'll do
- Drive each circuit card assembly from requirements gathering and schematics through layout, bring-up, troubleshooting and qualification.
- Create dense, fast boards that combine analog and digital circuitry, processors, memory, networking, power stages, sensor and actuator interfaces, and backplanes.
- Partner with supply chain to pick parts, place orders and manage vendors so hardware is delivered on time.
- Run verification testing against requirements, then refine designs and implement changes as results come in.
- Integrate qualified boards into the wider system and help prepare for high-volume production.

- Hands-on skill with a professional PCB layout tool such as Altium or Cadence Allegro.
- Background in a demanding hardware-driven sector such as aerospace, automotive, robotics or semiconductors.
- Ability to build test racks, fixtures or simulation-based test setups.
- Comfort working on-site five days a week.
- Must be a U.S. person.
